Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research work was to carry out the exploration of three interdisciplinary areas and understand why they are often confused or believed to be the same thing in terms of competitive intelligence, market intelligence and business intelligence. Through a descriptive literature review, it was possible to find the conceptual and methodological similarities and differences, as well as the most applied technological tools from research for a better understanding of these disciplines and the opportunity to integrate them, generating and taking advantage of the potential of each one to different business applications. With the exponential growth of data and information from different sources that need to be processed by organizations, it is concluded that integrating these concepts of intelligence from data analysis may be an opportunity.
