Abstract

The creation of the IoT concept allows to extend the connectivity of digital devices to physical devices, which are not connected to the Internet, and which we use daily. The objectives of this article are to present the concepts of Big Data and Internet of Things (IoT), focusing later on a more recent variation of IoT: Social IoT. Se conciliarmos Big Data com "high-power e data analytics", podem realizar-se tarefas importantes para negocios e organizaçoes, como: perceçâo, em tempo quase real, dos principais motivos de falhas, problemas e defeitos; criar cupoes de desconto nos pontos de venda com base nos hábitos de compra dos clientes; recalcular portefólios de risco inteiros em poucos minutos; encontrar condutas fraudulentas, entre muitas outras coisas (SAS-Big Data, 2020). Aplicaçöes Atualmente as técnicas de Big Data, encontram-se a ser utilizadas nos seguintes casos (Bernardino & Neves, 2016): * Desenvolvimento de produto; * Costumer experience; * Deteçao de fraude; * Machine Learning; * Eficiencia operacional; * Impulso ao desenvolvimento e inovaçao. 3.
