Abstract
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) allow, nowadays, an intense and critical dialogue between education and technologies. Seen in these terms, this article presents the results of a doctoral research in order to identify the ICT used by teachers of Social Work courses in the teaching and learning processes. In the same manner, it was intended to discover the objectives with which these resources are being used in the training of future social workers, positioning them with regard to the certification levels of teaching skills in ICT. The research was based on an online questionnaire applied to a group of teachers bounded to public Institutions of Higher Education that offer degrees in Social Work in the state of Paraná. The results indicate to an instrumental use of ICT in the teaching and learning processes.
