A 73-year-old man developed benign fasciculations following the administration of atorvastatin [indication, dosage and route not stated].
The man, who had a history of coronary artery disease and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, was treated with drug stent. Later, he started receiving treatment with atorvastatin and other medications. He presented with several years of muscle cramps throughout his body and a month history of bilateral arm weakness. He had been experiencing intermittent cramping in his calves and thighs, noticeably as a slow tightening of the muscles associated with mild pain.
