Abstract

With the development of science and technology, the surgical blade cutting soft tissue continuously improves the design of blade to meet the higher technical requirements of clinical treatment in material properties, blade structure, and cutting performance. The purpose of this article is to review the research advance of surgical blades for soft cutting biological tissues, including cutting mechanisms of cutting soft tissue with blades, optimization of cutting parameters, the advance of surgical blade, the damage of biological tissue, and blades after cutting. Finally, the conclusions and perspective are put forward.
