Singer The Weeknd will not re-introduce his music to the Grammy Award selection process, which he has already accused of being "corrupt" and unre transparent after having not achieved any nominations despite being one of the great favorites.
"Bythe secret committees, I won't let my label re-introduce my music to the Grammys,"the singer said in a statement released by The New York Times.
The author of Blinding Lights refers to committees made up of music industry veterans, executives, and artists who decide nominees in some categories, while in others candidates are chosen by the U.S. Recording Academy's set of voters.
