Abstract

The main reasons for the deterioration of the mammoth tusk quality as a raw material are considered and reduce these deteriorations are indicated. Creation of highly filled composite materials based on an epoxy binder for possible use of tusk jewelry processing waste is proposed. Using the 3D modeling technologies and milling equipment with computer numerical control to create a mass production of products from low-grade bone materials and polymer composite materials is proposed.
