Abstract
This project report chronicles the Los Angeles intimate theatre premiere of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, produced by Greenway Arts Alliance in Fall 2019 at Greenway Court Theatre as part of the GreenwayREADS program.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time was the fourth iteration of the GreenwayREADS program. Previous productions had been successful in varying degrees, with the immediately preceding production of The Color Purple in 2018 meeting all benchmarks for success. This report addresses the challenges and opportunities I faced in attempting to exceed the success of The Color Purple with our 2019 production. This report additionally explores how the application of research on managing creativity and building brand loyalty in my role as Producing Director helped me meet our benchmarks for success.
