Trading Technologies International is in talks to connect its platform to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) in Mumbai, as a change in management shifts the fintech firm’s focus to accelerating its expansion.
“The new management can hit the ground running, but is also focused on expansion and sales, having built up the technology,” said Steve Stewart, the trading software, data analytics and infrastructure firm’s managing director, Europe, in an interview with Global Investor.
Chicago-based TT’s former chief executive Rick Lane announced his departure in January, just weeks after Goldman Sachs abandoned talks over a possible acquisition of TT, according to sources. A month later, former president and chief financial officer Michael Kraines left to pursue another opportunity.
