E-Media and Design program; new e-Commerce component; new Certified Network Professional component. The e-Media and Design program opened in in February with next intake in October. Students deal with media convergence, advertising and branding strategies as they pertain to the Internet, Web design and programs such as Flash. In September, the school's e-commerce program and Certified Network Professional program both add new components. E-commerce adds a wireless emphasis, while the Certified Network Professional course of studies adds a security LAN/WAN infrastructure module. Office Supervisory Skills; Web CT Technology -- Practical Nurse and Office Supervisory Skills program. The Web CT Technology -- Practical Nurse and Office Supervisory Skills program started last year as did Office Supervisory Skills, which is a complete online study course. The Practical Nursing program uses technology as a value-added study/reference guide for exam preparation. The Office Supervisory Skills program provides instruction to existing and potential workers in office environments. It is an "anytime, anywhere" offering accessed through the Internet. They join NorQuest's slightly older MCSE A+ course of studies designed for students wishing to enter the IT field. Info: www.norquest.ab.ca
