Dust is the basis of our planet's ecosystem. About 90 percent of wildflowers and plant species, 75 percent of food plants, and 35 percent of the world's agricultural land are completely dependent on dust. Pollen not only contributes directly to food security, but also plays an important role in maintaining biodiversity.
Because we are all directly dependent on pollinators, controlling their decline and stopping the loss of biodiversity is one of the most important issues in today's world. Recent research clearly shows that butterflies, bats, bees and other pollinators are increasingly exposed to human-induced threats.
