Abstract

Received: 18.03.2021; Revised: 17.05.2021; Accepted: 18.05.2021 Abstract Objective: With this study, we wanted to reduce the transmission of HIV/AIDS and to improve the attitudes and behaviors of physician candidates towards HIV/AIDS patients. For HIV / AIDS infection, direct contact of body fluids (blood and blood products, sperm, other genital secretions, milk and placenta) is required7,11. According to the World Health Organization and the Joint United Nations Program on HIV / AIDS; young people are more susceptible to HIV infection because they lack health information and do not apply to health facilities due to social pressure after risky behaviors14. The research protocol was approved by the Atatürk University Medical Faculty research ethics committee before the study (Ethics Committee Approval Number: B.30.2.ATA.0.01.00/314).
