Abstract

Eutrophication of water bodies has a negative impact on human health, contributing to the spread of the gastrointestinal and dermatological diseases, conjunctivitis. The increase of the anthropogenic load leads to the increase of the eutrophication level and, consequently, the increase in morbidity. The article discusses in detail the eutrophication of the Gulf of Taganrog of the Sea of Azov. The conclusions made in the work relate to the direct relationship between the degree of eutrophication of the reservoir, water temperature, salinity and the spread of gastrointestinal diseases.
