Abstract
We present and compare results of measurement of saturation magnetostriction constants of amorphous ribbons Fe80-x Co x P14B6 (x = 23, 25, 28, 32, 40 at.%) and the reference Fe40Ni40P14B6 specimen employing Narita and Becker-Kersten methods. We also modified a strain gauge-based method to enable measurements of complete magnetic field dependence of magnetostriction coefficients.
