A few weeks ago, Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and SEO of Facebook Inc. made it known that the company that encompasses Facebook, Instragram and WhatsApp, would change its name to Meta, as part of the company's new goal: to develop the metaverse.
However, Louis Rosenberg, the computer scientist who developed the first technology to make way for augmented reality, recently warned -in an article published in Big Think- about the risks that this symbiosis between reality and the virtual world may entail.

Internet, social networks, smart objects, since the technological revolution unleashed in the second half of the 21st century we have more and more devices that make it easier for us to access information and perform increasingly complex tasks without having to leave our homes.
However, these technological advances, which at first glance are perceived as optional complements to our lives, are rarely so. In the 90's access to the internet and a computer was a luxury; now we not only have the power of a computer in our pocket 24 hours a day, but it allows us to access the internet at any time.
