Nous maintenons quau cours des expériences de TSL il se joue sur le terrain de léconomie une bataille tout à fait essentielle pour leur réussite. Cependant, cela na guère été bien compris et des solutions économiques empiristes et simplistes ont largement prévalu. Cet oubli na fait que hâter l'échec et aggraver ses effets, notamment entrafnant des résultats diamétralement opposés à ceux qui étaient initialement prévus. D'autre part, les performances économiques très décevantes ont énormément discrédité le processus même lorsque la défaite politique nétait pas encore certaine. Bien sûr les réactions des intérêts frappés par les mesures entreprises par la TSL ont accru les difficultés. Toutefois, de notre point de vue, les raisons fondamentales des fortes tendances à léchec, en particulier sur le plan économique, des processus que nous avons analysés doivent être avant tout recherchées dans les erreurs, incohérences et négligences de ceux qui les ont conduits.

En pareil cas, il faudra donc changer d'attitude et, tout d'abord, il faudra accorder une attention beaucoup plus grande à la recherche d'une stratégie économique adaptée aux objectifs de la TSL. A cet égard, il fallait bien, préalablenent, réaliaer un travail approfondi d'analyse et de reconsidération généralsa des choix économiques faits dans les expériences pasées. C'est ce que nous avons essayé de faire tout au long des chapitres précédents, particulièrenent en posant d'une façon ouverte et sans ambages quelques-uns des problèmes les plus sérieux dont la TSL a påti. Cette démarche était d'autant plus nécessaire q'uil s'agissait de ce que nous avons considéré dès le début comme une sorte de voie idéale pour le ehangenent social rapide. puisqu'elle est libre et pluraliate, éprise de justice sociale et de buts égalitaires non autoritaires. De plus. nous nous sommes vite aperçu qu'à cette importance théorique ne correspondait aucune élaboration systématique d'un projet écononique globalenent cohérent qui puisse en particulier, contribuer significativement à la résolution des problèmes qui apparaitraient certainement.

Noun allons ensuite relever un certain nombre de questions majeures qui se sont dégagées de l'analyse précédente et qui nous semblent particulièrement évocatrices des difficultés connues par la TSL. In this respect, it was necessary, beforehand, to carry out an in-depth work of analysis and general reconsideration of the economic choices made in past experiences. This is what we have tried to do throughout the preceding chapters, particularly by posing in an open and straightforward way some of the most serious problems that the STL has suffered. This step was all the more necessary since it was a question of what we considered from the beginning to be a kind of ideal way for rapid social change. since it is free and pluralistic, in love with social justice and non-authoritarian egalitarian goals. Moreover. we quickly realized that this theoretical importance did not correspond to any systematic elaboration of a globally coherent economic project which could, in particular, contribute significantly to the resolution of the problems which would certainly appear.

We will then raise a certain number of major questions which emerged from the previous analysis and which seem to us to be particularly evocative of the difficulties experienced by the STL. At the same time, we will point out some measures that had to be adopted or aspects to be taken into account, in the search for a more successful path for the STL.
