When members of The Hindu Temple of Wisconsin break ground on a temple in August, they will move one step closer to having their own place of worship.
It will be a place, they say, where they can preserve their religious and cultural traditions for future generations.
For the past 12 years, the Wisconsin group's 300 members have made monthly journeys to temples in Chicago because there is none in Wisconsin.
