In what appears to be a never-ending mission to prove that nothing is never-ending, Cox Broadcasting will do IT again on Monday.
IT = jerking around the audience.
At midnight Sunday, talk again goes mute on FM while warm, hypnotic, easy favorites will be served in a double shot up to the "legal limit."
At that witching hour, "Entertaining Talk Radio for the '90s," aka WSUN-AM 620, will retreat to its singular home on the AM dial after a week of keeping warm former rock 'n' roller WYNF-FM 94.9's seat.
This whole exercise, whether by design or stumble, has served as temporary cover for an address change for WARM 107 (WWRM-FM 107.3), which will move its "Relaxing, Easy Favorites" music format (Lionel Ritchie as opposed to Lionel), to 94.9-FM, while remaining on 107.3 for the time being, too, so as to not shock its mellow audience too soundly. Yes, folks, it'll still be warm, and it'll be twice as warm for a while. But eventually, it'll...
