Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to present a systematic introduction to the methodology of computational modeling and simulation as support in an academic environment. Computational methods to simulate social processes have expanded in the last decade, the progress and work in the use of these methodologies in disciplines such as psychology, economics, sociology, are increasingly used; However, there are few analyzes that show the epistemological and methodological reflection of computational simulation and its practice through models and prototypes in areas such as pedagogy. The objective of this work is to present the computational simulation model for the identification of the relationship between the predominant 1personality style according to the Myers-Briggs indicator and the learning style based on the representation system model (NLP). The data from the results of the tests applied to young students of Computer Systems Engineering and Computer Engineering were used.
