Abstract

Alternate abstract:

The purpose of the article is to analyze how they went from cultural relations to struggles against the USSR and Cuba to influence leftist organizations and, finally, to a situation in which commercial exchanges and investments were privileged, which was presented, paradoxically, during the abandonment of political ties with the left and in the disappearance of most Maoist currents.
