Abstract

Over the past several years, the flipped classroom has gained in popularity. Flipped classrooms show great promise in increasing student engagement, increasing attendance rates, changing student behavior, increasing teacher satisfaction, and increasing student performance. However, much more research is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of flipped teaching. The purpose of this paper is to codify existing research, present lessons lessons learned from flipping a HR classroom, and suggest areas for future research in the human resources discipline.
