SHELL has provided the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team with a brand new fuel to compete in the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix.
It is an evolution of the fuel that was used by the team in Japan at the end of the 2002 Formula One season.
Through the winter, Shell and Ferrari mechanics have worked together to develop the new enhanced fuel.
Shell Global Solutions' Mike Copson said the tests showed that the new fuel would contribute to the Ferrari engine's better performance.
