GRAFTON William V. Letourneau, 84, of Hingham Rd., passed away December 26, 2003 in Beaumont of Northbridge. He leaves his devoted wife of 64 years, Lucille (Girard) Letourneau; his daughter & son- in-law Anne & Raimo Puntanen of Rutland, his sons & daughters-in- law William & Janet Letourneau of Grafton, John & Arlene Letourneau of Douglas and his son Paul Letourneau of Grafton; 3 brothers; Hector, Rene & Leo Letourneau; 6 sisters; Yvonne known in religous life as Sister Mary Carmello of The Sisters of St. Anne in Quebec, Alice Letourneau, Jeannette Lawrence, Mary Rose Murdock, Anita Burque & Gloria Tremblay. 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Yvette in 2001, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 3 grandchildren. He was born January 12, 1919 in Worcester the son of William C. & Dora (Lemay) Letourneau and he has lived in Grafton since 1952. He was a truer at Norton Co. Plant #7 in Worcester for 38 years retiring in 1979. He was educated in St. Hyacinthe Seminary in Quebec. He was a parishioner of The Church of St. Mary, a member of The Worcester Homing Pigeon Club and a former CYC basketball coach at St. Joseph's Church in Worcester. He was a sportsman playing golf, fishing, playing tennis and bowling. He was an enthusiastic Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed gardening. Most importantly he was a devoted, caring husband and father to his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 29, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in his parish Church of St. Mary, 17 Waterville St., (Rt. 30), North Grafton. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, South Grafton. Calling hours for immediate and extended family members only, are Monday, December 29th from 11:30 am to 1:30 p.m. at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. (Rt. 140 & 122), North Grafton.
