COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Rumeal Robinson and Dave Jamerson, former NBA first-round draft picks, highlight the Continental Basketball Association team that will represent the United States in this month's Pan American Games in Argentina.
Robinson, who led Michigan to the NCAA championship in 1989, and Jamerson, who is Ohio University's career leading scorer, are among five players on the team with NBA experience.
Other former NBA players named to the squad Monday: Brian Davis, who played in four Final Fours with Duke and the 1993-94 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves; Mike Williams, who played 21 games for Sacramento and Atlanta in 1989-90; and A.J. Wynder, who played six games for Boston in 1990-91.
The U.S. team opens preliminary play March 19 against Argentina.
