IJMC's 'Impact Factor' grows 25%

Abstract

The American Foundry Society's peer-reviewed research journal continues to grow in stature and influence. For the fourth consecutive year, International Journal of Metalcasting (IJMC) improved its Impact Factor, growing 25% from 2020 to 2021. This follows subsequent increases of 34%, 33%, and 25% in the three previous years. Impact Factor (IF) is a score that reflects how often papers are referenced in other publications, so it is a measure of how much the journal is read and cited by other researchers. Growth in IJMC's Impact Factor is an indication of the journal's increasing importance and global recognition.
