Kathmandu, Oct. 20 -- APF Club defeated their departmental rivals Police 3-1 in the women's volleyball final to win gold in Myagdi at the Ninth National Games on Wednesday.
In an entertaining game at the Beni's Khulla Manch, APF won the first two sets 25-19 and 28-26 but lost the third 24-26. However, APF bounced back to claim the third set 25-19 to kill off the game.
APF's Niruta Thagunna was adjudged player of the match.
Bagmati secured silver with a 25-12, 25-21, 25-17 win over Gandaki.
APF's men's team also reached the final after they defeated Gandaki 25-21, 27-25, 25-15. They...
