With the scientific name Petroselinum sativum and belonging to the Umbilice family, parsley is one of the most widely used aromatic herbs in gastronomy, but very few people know about its wide range of medicinal properties.
The use of parsley has been known since ancient times, although at first it was used in tombs to honor the dead. In the Middle Ages, for example, the herb was used for magical purposes, it was believed that if the name of the enemy was mentioned while extracting the root of the plant, he would die instantly.
