Well over 200 people attended the Ontario Printing and Imaging Assoc. annual Spring Gala and Awards night April 29 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto. The evening's top draw, the OPIA Excellence in Print Awards, saw top Awards of Excellence going to General Printers of Oshawa for the sheetfed printing category, St. Joseph Print Group of Toronto for the web printing category, and PLM Group of Markham for the specialty printing category. Other category winners included: Bowne of Toronto, CJ. Graphics (Toronto), Cenveo MM&T Packaging (Mississauga), Harmony Printing (Toronto), Metroland Printing, Publishing and Distribution (Toronto), Parker Pad and Printing (Markham), Quebecor World Aurora, Quebecor World MIL (Toronto), Quebecor World Richmond Hill, Transcontinental Printing RBW (Owen Sound), Twin City Dwyer Printing (Kitchener) and University of Toronto Press (Toronto).
