After 13 years it was time to return to the world of Pandora. James Cameron returns to expand his galactic universe that revolutionized the way we experience 3D in cinema, reminding us what it's like to be able to experience purely cinematic and immersive entertainment with.
In we had the pleasure of chatting with the new blood of the first of three sequels announced for this franchise, young actors Jamie Flatters and Bailey Bass, who bring to life Neteyam and Tsireya respectively, in this expanded universe of the Na'avi.
"It's very exciting to be able to carry on the legacy that Cameron left since 2009. We get asked all the time how we feel and, to be honest, I don't think I understood the magnitude of what the franchise is until we saw the film the other day. It seems to me that it surpasses any idea of what we could define as the movie experience. And that's because, in a film, you're always looking for the audience to feel deeply what's going on, you want to challenge them, it's like the fact that art imitates life," Bailey said of joining the franchise with a new character.
Flatters, who plays Jake Sully's eldest son, agrees with his co-star's excitement: "It's definitely a surprise to be part of this great collective that is the Sully family, it's a great legacy that we're very excited about and hopefully people will relive it and feel like...
