Jay McCarroll has experienced his share of good and bad in the year since he won "Project Runway," the reality TV fashion design competition on Bravo.
First, the good: He's frequently recognized by adoring fans, has attended his share of celebrity-laden parties and benefits and is currently hard at work on a fashion line that's set to make its debut later this year.
Now, the bad: He's near-broke, was dissed by "Runway" host Heidi Klum and has been a target of the tabloids.
The best and worst of the Lehman Township, Luzerne County, native's tumultuous year in the spotlight will be displayed for all to see in the hour-long special, "Project Jay," airing Wednesday at 11 p.m. on Bravo.
