RESIDENCE Apartment on the Upper East Side MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT `I like to think that somewhere, some of the young people we've helped along the way are doing what they do best. I also like to think that there are people who aren't out on the streets who were, maybe a couple of weeks or years ago. I think that we have an obligation to do something. If we stand by, we're condoning what's happening, and that's not right.'
CONCERNS `The problems of the homeless and the AIDS epidemic in New York City.' BEST AND WORST THING ABOUT MANHATTAN `I love the energy and excitement in this town . . . It's really an international center, and for me there's no other city that can compare to it culturally . . . The downside are the social problems . . . it's very difficult to have to step over somebody in the street and not let it bother you.'
CURRENT FOCUS `The Oratorio Society of New York benefit in Carnegie Hall on May 2, which will help the AIDS Resource Center's Bailey House.'
