FOOTNOTES / Homeless Group Plans Action Day Conference Talks by Andrew Cuomo, the founder of HELP, said to be the nation's largest private, nonprofit builder of housing for the homeless, and U.S. Rep. Charles Schumer (D-Brooklyn), a leading proponent of federal legislation on low-income housing, will highlight a conference on Saturday being sponsored by the Partnership for the Homeless.
The eighth such Action Day Conference will be held at the New School for Social Research, 66 W. 12th St. Today is the last day to register for the conference, which is open to the public without charge.
