New Look, New Name Things are changing at the Queens Museum. The formal groundbreaking for the museum's $13-million renovation will take place tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at the museum, located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. At the same time, the 19-year-old museum will formally change its name to the Queens Museum of Art. The renovation, which will double the museum's public space, will be completed as the building remains open to the public, according to Steven Klindt, museum executive director. Klindt said that the museum's name is being changed to reinforce awareness of its purpose and mission.
