Flower lovers filed a class action lawsuit yesterday, trying to stop the city from selling 115 city-owned parcels of land being used as community gardens.
The suit, filed in State Supreme Court in Brooklyn, accuses Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's administration of failing to comply with state-mandated environmental review laws.
More than half of the properties slated for sale were reviewed 15 years ago under the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure and State Environmental Quality Review Act; only five have undergone review since 1994, the lawsuit said.
