DETECTIVES in Bedfordshire are combing through the financial records of their own Police and Crime Commissioner's office as part of an investigation into a suspected £236,000 fraud.
Bedfordshire Police launched the investigation into claims of fraud within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) after accountants uncovered financial irregularities.
Four people were arrested and are on bail as part of the investigation.
