Two Queens men who climbed one of the twin towers of the old World's Fair observatory deck were plucked to safety last night by rescue workers dangling from a hovering helicopter, officials said.
The rescue workers repelled from the copter to the roof of the New York State Pavilion and attached rigging to the two men, then hoisted them one by one into the night air, police said.
The two, along with a third man who climbed down when police ordered him to, were arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and criminal trespass, police said.
