Abstract

During the process of the design of the 750 kV transformer substation, the intensity of the electric field on the conductor surface is something very important. In this study, adopting a software of Finite Element Simulation, the authors respectively established simulation models of the distribution of two-dimensional electric field, calculated the maximum values of electric field intensity in different scenarios, and researched the distribution rules of electric field intensity on conductor surface in different wires, different division quantities, and different separation distances. As a result, the authors figured out the composition of wires which are applicable to the 750 kV transformer substation.
