Abstract

The purpose of this study was twofold: (a) to examine associations between social development as observed through peer play interactions at the beginning of school year and empathy skills at the end of the school year for children enrolled in an early childhood inclusion program; and (b) to examine the extent to which associations differ for children with and without visual impairment.
