Abstract

This is a story about growing up in Florida with my brother Bobby and grandmother, Gram. It's also about growing up Davidian, around different kinds of illness, with OCD; being sent away by family to live in Ohio and the impact of that separation. It's about traveling and relationships and water and land, identity and inquiry, and looping, all kinds of it—the way the present works and wars with memory.
