Introduction: Osteoarthritis (OA) is the leading cause of pain and disability worldwide, affecting 4.1 percent of an urban population in the Philippines. Oral non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs are often used in treating OA, often giving adverse systemic reactions; hence other treatment routes are considered, particularly topical.
Objective: To compare the efficacy of two topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in adult patients with knee osteoarthritis seen in a Tertiary Government Hospital in the Family Medicine Out-Patient Department.
