Maybe it was the cowboy hat, but Barry Corbin certainly looked like the best player at the table during a recent episode of the Bravo series Celebrity Poker Showdown.
And the actor, who plays Coach Whitey Durham on the locally filmed One Tree Hill, did win the round against actor James Woods, Joey Fatone of N'Sync, Gina Gershon (Showgirls) and comedian Andy Richter.
His victory is surprising only after Mr. Corbin confesses that cards aren't in his blood.
"I'm not really what you'd call a poker player," he said. "That was actually the first time I'd played Texas Hold 'Em."
The win, though, earned Mr. Corbin a spot at the championship table, along with Steven Culp (Desperate...
