Abstract
[Purpose / Significance] A mobile digital library as a new library service model in the wake of technological change, presents enormous future development and application prospects. As a new service system of modern digital library, its development and construction is a process of constantly updating and perfecting its data and technologies. [Method / Process] Through the analysis of a library's own service mode, this paper studied the application status of a mobile digital library. According to its architecture, the problems existing in current digital libraries were analyzed step by step. From the perspectives of a library's own data construction, wireless mobile communication technology, mobile digital library's service construction and intellectual property protection, this paper made a detailed analysis and exploration of the problems existing in the structure and service of a mobile digital library. [Results / Conclusions] We put forward the corresponding countermeasures, in order to provide insights into the development of mobile digital libraries.
