Another man in possession of 2 pistols and 4 magazines was arrested from Jirania Railway Station on Tuesday.
Two days after an arms peddler was arrested from Jirania Railway Station, 20 km from Agartala city, the police have arrested one more arms smuggler from the Badharghat area of the city in connection with what appears to be a larger arms smuggling racket, officials said on Thursday.
An official of the Government Railway Police (GRP) told reporters that they arrested Biswajit Rakshit from his residence at Badharghat Sripalli late Wednesday night.
