Abstract

Guidance is becoming recognized as an important part of American education, and guidance programs are increasing rapidly in school systems throughout the nation. The challenge and obligation of the schools for developing the abilities and talents of our youth is indeed a formidable one in light of the technical, social, and economic changes which are occurring in American society.
