It looks like Harold Camping was wrong.
Camping, a Christian radio evangelist, had predicted the world as we know it would end Tuesday, which also was the first day of the Jewish New Year.
Obviously, it didn't.
But Camping has left the door open for eschatological developments, saying the end of human history would be followed by the Second Coming of Christ on or after Sept. 15, which, not coincidentally, is Yom Kippur.
