Abstract

The grazing livestock exploitation system is the one that most closely resembles the natural living conditions of the species and, in such circumstances, parasite-host relationships are favored. This is the reason why ruminants, when exploited in a traditional way, are considered the domestic species most affected by parasites and therefore it is not surprising that the sheep species, throughout its evolution, has reached serve as a host for about 200 different species of parasites (TARAZONA, 1980).
