Habitar E Envelhecer no Séc. XXI : Flexibilidade e Adaptabilidade na Habitação Multigeracional

Abstract

A presente dissertação tem como tema geral “Habitar e Envelhecer no séc. XXI”, onde se procurou um entendimento em termos genéricos sobre a arquitectura da habitação urbana, que abrangesse as várias faixas etárias. Neste sentido procurou-se explorar as potencialidades de um pensamento arquitectónico de forma a trazer mais vida á zona de intervenção estudada.

Ao tema geral é introduzido o subtema “ Flexibilidade e Adaptabilidade na habitação Multigeracional” com o objectivo de dar resposta às distintas necessidades das pessoas, uma vez que nos encontramos cada vez mais inseridos numa população envelhecida.

Desta forma, pretende-se contextualizar o tema, no ponto de vista urbano e arquitectónico, social e conceptual, apoiado em estudos de caso e analise do terreno estudado.

Assim sendo, pretende-se com este trabalho, demonstrar algumas formas de ultrapassar a problemática do habitar nas várias etapas de vida, sem o recurso a instalações especializadas.

This dissertation is the general theme "Living and Aging in the century. XXI", which sought an understanding in general terms about the architecture of urban housing, covering the various age groups. In this sense we tried to explore the potential of architectural thought in order to bring more life to the area of intervention studied.

The general theme is introduced subtheme "Flexibility and Adaptability in Multigeneration housing" in order to meet the different needs of people, since we are increasingly function in a population aged.

It is thus intended to contextualize the topic at the point of view and urban architectural, social and conceptual, supported by case studies and analysis of field study.

Therefore, the aim of this work, demonstrate some ways to overcome the problem of dwelling at various stages of life, without the use of specialized facilities.
