"I change my hair like I change my clothes". Dancer and businesswoman Brunna Gonçalves presents herself like this on her Instagram profile, which is followed by more than six million people. She and singer Ludmilla, to whom she has been married since 2019, are super-powered girls, the kind who influence crowds on social media and on stage. They exercise their power with an unrestrained way of being, and always pointing out trends. In fashion, they now embody two sides of the same coin, that of black women's empowerment: they are afropaty and nega doce. Bruna (who "changes her hair like she changes her clothes") plays for the first team. Ludmilla is the other type.
Afropaty is the style adopted by black women who like to dress in a more delicate way, wearing laces (a kind of wig), without giving up creativity - or heels, of course. The sweet black women, on the other hand, ooze attitude, but don't neglect street comfort, the fashion of the streets, whose main accessories are baggy pants, sneakers and braids in their hair.
