The figure of Puerto Rican slugger Francisco Lindor made an appearance Thursday at the Mets' training camps, where he said that, after overcoming a season in which he kept playing with pain, he is determined to reach the top with the New York team.
"It's been the same since Day 1: I want to win," Lindor told reporters in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where the Mets' training camp is located.
The three-time Silver Slugger showed he has recovered from the surgery he underwent at the end of last season to correct the damage caused by a bone spur in his right elbow, which caused him pain throughout the 2023 playing schedule. Read here: Inter Milan scores goals and stomps in Italy's Serie A
