Abstract

Resumen: Este artículo propone una edición crítica -a partir de los nueve testimonios conocidos-, del Sermón Trobado de Fray Iñigo de Mendoza, un regimiento de príncipes dirigido a Fernando el Católico. El texto consiste en una alegoría campesina que equipara el recto gobierno al buen pastoreo de una grey de bueyes. Se propone también un esterna provisional.

This article is an approach to the most significant problems of textual criticism that arose while editing the Sermón Trobado by Fr. Íñigo de Mendoza from nine extant manuscripts and incunabula. This work is a brief and peculiar mirror of princes addressed to Ferdinand II of Aragon, as well as. This is a peasant allegory that compares righteous government to the good shepherding of a herd of oxen. A provisional stemma is also provided.
